Education and Testing Required for LBSW

• You will need to meet the following requirements to be eligible to apply for the LBSW title:
• Earn a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited institution of higher learning.
• Pass the Texas Jurisprudence Examination.
• Pass the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Bachelor’s Level Examination.
